E is for Education and Eggplant

I like education!

Well of course I do, I'm a teacher!

My education (post secondary) came from Central Michigan University.
Fire Up Chips!
While at CMU, I worked hard, studied lots, and made a few friends along the way.☺  My major was Cognitive Impairments and my minor was Child Development.  I graduated in 2004 (wow, I feel old!) and have taught or substitute taught for the majority of the past 7 years.  I've lived and taught in Michigan and Georgia.  I haven't found a teaching job since moving back to Michigan 2 years ago, but I keep looking.  In the meantime, I fill my time with substitute teaching, volunteering, and spending time with family and friends.

Someday - soon, hopefully - I will find another teaching job (I'm willing to move again if anyone knows of any openings somewhere ☺).  Until then I'll educate the children in this area one day and one classroom at a time!

I don't like eggplant!

I don't know why I don't like them.  I've actually never tasted eggplant before, so I really have no right to form an opinion, but I just don't like them...

  2. Yes, my children would love you as a teacher! I am not a fan of eggplant either. I get teased that its a texture thing. But no matter how hard I try I just do not like it.
